Paige is an emcee, award-winning performer, applied improv facilitator, and the person who’s always first on the dance floor. She believes play is serious business and that joy is something you choose, not something you wait for.

Mike is…not that.

He’s thoughtful, strategic, and calm under pressure. Truthfully? Dancing in public embarrasses him. He doesn’t always know how to “just play.”

When Paige shared her “crazy” idea for a daytime dance party in public: headphones on, all-out dancing through town like nobody’s watching; Mike’s first instinct wasn’t confidence...it was discomfort.

And then he said yes.

Not because it felt natural, but because he trusted the experience. He trusted Paige. And he saw what happens when people step just outside their comfort zone in a supported environment.

JOYRIOT isn’t about being the best dancer or impressing people; it’s about having a place where you can feel super safe to let go of self-consciousness and remember how to play again.
